Shhhh

My granddaughter Monica has mentioned seeing her Angel Uncle Louie, my son, many times in her young life. Before she began school, when her mind was so free and open, she would often speak of Louie visiting her. My son Louie passed over when Monica was about one and a half years old.

One special time was on her fifth birthday. It was a beautiful, warm, and sunny day on the twenty-first of October when I arrived early to my daughter Tiffany’s house to help her set up for Monica’s birthday party. My daughter Tiffany had twenty-four shiny-colored Mylar helium balloons outside with all Dora The Explorer decorations for Monica’s party.

Monica was running around the outside of the house by herself and kept hiding in the shrubs. I asked her, “What the heck are you doing?”

She yelled back that Uncle Louie was playing hide-and-seek with her.

I said, “Well that’s great. What does he look like?”

She replied, “He’s a big, giant uncle, and he likes to giggle a lot! and he was saying ‘Shhhhhh.’” Monica pointed to her mouth and said he had his finger to his mouth, like when someone does when they want you to keep a secret. Monica announced that he was staying for the party and then going back to Heaven. Since Louie was six feet three inches tall, weighed 270 pounds, and was also the clown in the family, I knew she was really talking to my son. This gave my heart so much joy knowing he was actually there celebrating with us.

We had a great day with games, face painting, and lots of presents. It was really such a sweet and wonderful day. Louie’s present was his actual presence there! His love reached out to all of us that day. We took lots of photos to remember the occasion.

When the pictures from the party were developed, they showed the most beautifully colored circle orbs, which were the same colors as the balloons! Yet, the pictures were taken away from where the balloons were hanging, so they did not get captured in these photos. There is no earthly explanation for those colored orbs showing up in the photos. I believe my son Louie was showing his spiritual presence in these photos as further proof he was there for Monica’s birthday party. I know Louie had a great time being there too. I believe, as does the rest of my family, that all our loved ones are near us, watching over.
